Service Description
Cars Buy Text is a marketing and listing platform only. We promote your classic cars, exotic vehicles, trucks, motorcycles, and collector automobiles to over 500,000 automotive enthusiasts across social media platforms.
We provide listing creation, social media promotion, and private SMS-based buyer inquiry management. We do not own, inspect, verify, or participate in the sale of any vehicles listed on our platform.
Platform Role and Limitations
Cars Buy Text is a marketing and communication platform designed to connect buyers and sellers.
- We do not guarantee sale, price, or buyer behavior
- We do not verify vehicle condition, ownership, or title status
- We do not participate in negotiations, vehicle inspections, or ownership transfer
- We are not responsible for disputes between buyer and seller
- All transactions are conducted directly between buyer and seller
Users assume all risk in transactions and are responsible for conducting their own due diligence before completing any transaction.
Listing Requirements
When creating a listing, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful information about your vehicle
- Own the vehicle or have authorization to sell it
- Upload clear, authentic photos of the actual vehicle
- Respond to legitimate buyer inquiries in a timely manner
- Comply with all applicable laws regarding vehicle sales
Fees and Payment
Listing Fees: Fees for listing services are clearly displayed before purchase and are non-refundable once your listing is published. Services provided are promotional and communication-based.
Payment Processing: All payments are processed securely through our third-party payment processor. We do not store your credit card information.
No Sale Commissions: We do not charge commissions on vehicle sales. Our fee covers listing creation and promotion only. We do not participate in or receive payment from vehicle transactions.
Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Post false, misleading, or fraudulent listings
- List stolen vehicles or vehicles with unclear titles
- Use our service for any illegal purposes
- Harass, abuse, or spam other users or buyers
- Attempt to circumvent our SMS privacy system
- Scrape, copy, or misuse our platform content
Disclaimer of Warranties
Cars Buy Text provides listing and promotion services "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not:
- Guarantee that your vehicle will sell
- Verify the accuracy of vehicle information provided by sellers
- Conduct vehicle inspections or title checks
- Act as a party to any transaction between buyers and sellers
- Guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
Limitation of Liability
Cars Buy Text is not liable for any disputes, damages, or losses arising from vehicle transactions between buyers and sellers. We are a listing platform only and do not participate in sales negotiations, vehicle inspections, or financial transactions between parties.
Intellectual Property
By submitting photos and content for your listing, you grant Cars Buy Text a license to use, display, and promote that content across our social media channels and marketing materials. You retain ownership of your content.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse our platform. Listing fees are non-refundable in cases of account termination for violations.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will notify users of significant changes via email or SMS.
